Diane Taylor

I work as a freelance artist.

My previous work has been broad based and included; photography and video, sculpture, fine art textiles, fashion design, tailoring, print making, and painting on silk and glass.

I have taken part in group shows and exhibited widely at venues ranging from stately homes and public galleries to derelict houses and factories.

As well as painting to commission, I work as an arts facilitator with adult groups. I provide one to one sessions for individual clients in art and crafts subjects.

5 years ago I discovered contemporary botanical art and became interested in learning the discipline of botanical drawing and painting. I studied with the SBA and completed the Distance Learning Diploma in 2012.

I have a love of the countryside and find walking, particularly in the Scottish Highlands a source of inspiration and relaxation.
