Angela is inspired by country life and observing the flora through the changing seasons. Her special interest is in wild flowers, trees and poisonous plants, which she paints in watercolour. Also she works in pen and ink, pencil crayon and pastels.

Having studied Botanical Illustration at Birmingham University for the Cert. H.E, Angela says, ‘It is important to record plants since many that used to exist in hay meadows are no longer present. We must protect our environment for the sake of our sons and daughters and generations to come.’

Angela is a founder member of the BSBA, member of the RHS, Needwood DFAS, an associate member of the Sheffield Florilegium Society and a friend of the Society of Botanical Artists.
