October Meeting – Guy William Eves

October 29, 2024

Guy is a very accomplished graphite artist who said, “He had drawing in his blood from a very early age.”

Our project for the day was to draw a curly autumn leaf.

He talked about the benefits of using the right paper and why he uses certain pencils. He also demonstrated his graphite techniques for achieving his darkest and lightest values and working the finest detail into his drawings.

Thank you, Guy, for sharing your knowledge with us. I can say we all found it very interesting and a valuable learning day.
