The society is participating in Open Studios at Stirchley Baths Community Centre on 18th & 19th September. There will be art on display and cards and prints all available to purchase.

The society also has a stand at the Creative Craft Show and Art Materials Live at the NEC, Birmingham from 4th – 7th November 2021

Another exciting piece of news is that we will once again have an exhibition at The Granary Art Gallery at Weston Park from 31st August Р28th September 2022. Weston Park is set in 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland. Surrounding the house are formal gardens with rose beds, lawns, the sunken Italian Gardens and a Rose Walk. The Temple Wood is a naturalistic and romantic paradise. Below the art gallery is a restaurant  where you can get a just a coffee or a meal.

The Finnis Scott Foundation is inviting entries from Botanical Art Groups for their 2022 Botanical Art award. This two yearly award of up to £10,000 is intended to fund discrete projects that promote and encourage the practice and appreciation of botanical art. Do any members have ideas that we could put forward to take advantage of this ? please contact a committee member.
